Case Study 4: Holiday Dinner for 300 in 3 weeks
Project: Event Management of a holiday event for a local organization
Date: 2022

When Kayleigh received a call from the President of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council (BRBC) in November of 2022, asking if she would join the team and head up the planning for their 300+ person holiday dinner, she said yes!

What they had done already:
- Date picked

What needed to be done:
- Confirm venue.
- Confirm speaker.
- Design flyer, social media graphics, email signature image, mailer, presentation, and program.
- Write bios, a series of emails, social media announcements, and a registration page.
- Manage attendee list including lists of guests for the sponsors.

How it happened:
Kayleigh met with the team at the BRBC to gather information and gain access to needed systems, and then they got to work!

Kayleigh designed all promotional images and graphics, worked with staff to put a list of sponsors together and gather a list of mailing addresses for the mailer, created a workflow to make sure nothing was overlooked, and communicated with the staff on a regular basis.

She also helped with the collection and coordination of the sponsor bags, which included a book written and signed by the keynote speaker.

How it went:
On the night of the event, about 300 people attended the event. Kayleigh was there to help with the check-in process, set up, break down, and take some photos. The event was as successful as previous events (if not more so) even though it was put together in about three weeks.
